ONE MILLION DEAD
EVERY MAN, WOMAN AND CHILD IN TULSA AND OKLAHOMA CITY MURDERED…
That’s what the headlines would have read in July of 1994 had the terrible genocide in Rwanda happened in Oklahoma, my home state. The evil that lasted 100 days left one million dead.
Today, the orphans and widows still need healing from their deep emotional scars that naturally come from being a victim of such evil. I wonder could a regular person like you and I help a widow, an orphan or anyone affected by the genocide? Will it make a difference if we choose to do nothing? The answer to all is a resounding YES!
I submit to you that together your family and ours can make a difference to a group of people that has been devastated from within and forgotten by the world. By our going and your giving, we can reach out to those in need with the love of Jesus Christ.
